The College backs up client and server data.
Client Backup Policies –
- All CFA staff and faculty data is backed up continuously using Crashplan. You machine must be on and have an active network connection in order to be backed up.
Server Backup Policies –
- Replication – Almost all data is replicated immediately to a disaster recovery site as soon as it is placed on the server, this allows us to have two copies of critical data at all times.
- Snapshots – Data snapshoting is enabled on all server volumes. This allows us to go back in time to recover files or folders that are removed or inadvertently deleted from the server. If you remove server data that you need, please contact us for a restore.
