On August 11, University IT will be changing the firewall on campus to prohibit external traffic from accessing campus resources that are intended for the campus audience. This is a positive change for campus security and gives our resources an added layer of protection.

This means that you will be required to either be on the campus network (ethernet or uConnect) or connected to the VPN in order to connect to the CFA file server: fs.fa.utah.edu

Web sites should not be affected. If you are unable to access something after August 11 that you think should be available to the off-campus community, please contact us.
